Welcome to Bootlegger’s Brawl, the first-ever bartending competition hosted at the iconic Prohibition Kitchen in St. Augustine — a 1920s-inspired institution where craft cocktails, live music, and unforgettable nights collide.

This isn’t just another event. It’s a showdown. A celebration of skill, speed, creativity, and showmanship. A nod to the renegades, rule-breakers, and cocktail kings and queens who would’ve thrived behind a hidden door during Prohibition.

Set inside one of Northeast Florida’s most beloved bars —where nearly everyone who visits St. Augustine eventually finds themselves — Bootlegger’s Brawl  brings together top bartenders ready to prove they’ve got what it takes to pour under pressure and perform for the crowd.

Welcome to prohibition kitchen

Prohibition Kitchen is pleased to offer private occasions, Mezzanine reservations, and VIP area reservations for a room rate fee based upon availability. The perfect spot for a private occasion, after party, wedding rehearsal luncheon, dinner, cocktail hour or group gathering; Prohibition Kitchen’s industrial step back in time invokes a speakeasy ambiance for guests to enjoy including lite bites, our enticing menu, and refreshment packages.

mezzanine reservations

Mezzanine reservations (located on the second level of Prohibition Kitchen) can host anywhere from 35 guests seated, to 85 guests maximum with standing room. Mezzanine reservations require a refreshment package, a minimum requirement of 30 guests, and two hour time period. Mezzanine reservations are based upon availability and must be arranged two weeks in advance from the occasion date.

vip area

Our VIP area consists of 2 areas located to the left side of the stage, and offers the best seat in the house. Each VIP area can host up to 15 guests (30 guests total), zero wait time, a two hour block period, and a dedicated server for your party for a room rate fee. Refreshments and dining are not included.

*Reservations must be made 72 hours in advance to hold the VIP Area.
